If someone should ask for me,
tell ‘em Heaven, is where I’ll be.
I’ve finished all my life’s chores,
and now I fish on Heaven’s shores.
The view is grand and the fishing’s great,
but I yearn for you as I wait.
I’ll save a spot on the river’s bend,
for all those I call, family and friend.
But for now, sail out to sea,
and make a cast in memory,
to all the good times from the past,
so the memories will ever last.
And if the fish no longer bite
or seem no longer worth the fight,
because it’s me that you are missin’,
don’t worry - be glad - I’ve only gone fishin’.

When I am gone, release me, let me go
I have so many things to see and do
You must not tie yourself to me with tears
Be happy that I have had so many years
I gave you my love, you can only guess
How much you gave me in happiness
I thank you for the love each have shown
But now it is time I travelled on alone
So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must
Then let your grief be comforted by trust
It is only for a while that we must part
So bless the memories in your heart
I will not be far away, for life goes on
So if you need me, call and I will come
Though you cannot see or touch me, I will be near
And if you listen with your heart, you will hear
All of my love around you soft and clear
Then, when you must come this way alone
I will greet you with a smile and welcome you home.

I love you and I miss you, Dad,
and though you've passed away,
you'll never be forgotten,
for I think of you each day.
If heaven celebrates this day
how special it will be.
A gathering of the many dads
upon our family tree.
Your father and grandfather
and great grandfather too.
How wonderful it is, if they
can spend this day with you.
May you know how much I love you,
though I'm here and you are there.
Happy Father's Day in heaven
to the best dad anywhere!

We are all stories in the end,
remembered by the adventures we had,
the achievements we made
and the people we loved.
So make sure your story
is a good one.

Love,
laughter
and happily
ever after
Love begins in a moment,
grows over time
and lasts for an
eternity.
Marriage is sharing life
with your best friend.
Enjoying the journey
along the way and
arriving at every
destinationtogether.
Think not because
you are now wed,
that all your
courtship's
at an end
You annoy me more
than i ever thought
possible.
But I want to spend
every irritating
minute with you.
I want you to know
how much I have
enjoyed annoying you
all this time and
how excited I am
to continue this
in the future.

Let us find a shady wady
Pretty little brook;
Let us have some candy handy,
And a picture-book.
There all day we'll stay and play and
Never mind the heat,
While the water gleaming, streaming,
Ripples round our feet.
And we'll gather curly pearly
Mussel-shells while bright
Frightened minnows darting, parting,
Scurry out of sight.
What if, what if, - heigh-ho! my oh! -
All the "ifs" were true,
And the little fishes wishes,
Now, what would you do?

The need of quiet,
the need of air.....
the sight of sky and of things growing
seem human needs
common to us all.
We all want quiet.
We all want beauty....
We all need space.

To make a difference in someones life,
you don't need to be brilliant, rich, beautiful or perfect.
You just have to care.

I had two mothers – two mothers I claim,
two different people, yet with the same name.
Two separate women, diverse by design,
but I loved them both because they were mine.
The first was the mother who carried me here,
gave birth and nurtured and launched my career.
She was the one whose features I bear,
complete with the facial expressions I wear.
She gave her love, which follows me yet,
along with examples in life that she set.
As I got older, she somehow younger grew,
and we’d laugh as just mothers and daughters do.
But then came the time that her mind clouded so,
and I sensed that the mother I knew would soon go.
So quickly she changed and turned into the other,
a stranger dressed in the clothes of my mother.
Oh, she looked the same, at least at arms length,
but now she was the child and I was her strength.
We’d come full circle, we women three,
my mother the first, the second and me.
And if my own children should come to a day,
when a new mother comes and the old goes away,
I’d ask of them nothing that I didn’t do.
Love both of your mothers as both have loved you.
You can choose your own or I can help you find a suitable & personal poem or quote for your bespoke ceremony.
